🖼️ Do Alexios And Kassandra Have Different Stories

Are you playing Kassandra and have you met the Chick who want s to be a hero like Odysseus . Seems to be a pretty major story game thread. I've met her 2 times now while playing as Alexios. I had the option to flirt with her, telling her how beautiful she is. I can't remember now what I said to her, but she joined my crew after that. Honestly I don't blame them. Odyssey itself does not make it clear that one choice is canon and the other is narratively worthless. Imagine playing Odyssey for 60-100 hours, liking the game and Alexios, and then finding out that actually you should have played as Kassandra instead. I would have felt misled as well lol. Devs decided to do Kassandra first and later Alexios, and for some reason that started a stupid argument about the canon character. So many defend kassandra just because she is the "right" character. But the only difference is that they decided to do her first. About actual quality, both are amazing 90% of the content. Alexios and Kassandra are both equally viable option. Except that's not true. These are memories we are viewing of the past, and memories can't belong to two people at the same time. As indicated by the novel, which itself is canon, the memories canonically belong to Kassandra. Please keep it polite. The two top answers are correct - and I’ll add my own input. the game was originally written and designed with Kassandra as the sole playable protagonist and Alexios as the antagonist. Ubisoft execs believed that “women don’t sell” and “women don’t play video games.”. Yeah. If he's protagonist, he starts at 27, if he's Deimos, he's 20. Same for Kassandra. Pentan 5 years ago #3. According to the official Assassin's Creed Wikia entry (by Ubisoft) and Novel, Kassandra is the canon protagonist (heroine) and Alexios the canon antagonist (villain)! Having a choice of either male or female when it has no real impact on the actual story is just a reason looking to stir the pot. Women complain there aren't more female choices in video games but Kassandra. Credit: Ubisoft. Given that you'll spend a ton of time with these characters---looking at them, listening to them and so forth---enjoying the vocal performance matters. If you're a fan Exactly. It sounds like the your typical "Alexios should have been the canon protagonist, because historical accuracy" take. If OP truly thinks that having Alexios as an option is the main issue as they're claiming here, "Kassandra should've been the only option" would've been a lot less confusing as a title. Kassandra always came off as more sarcastic than Alexios, so if you prefer that I'd totally understand. For me I just like the range of emotions Alexios has (especially in scenes where there's a lot of emotional tension). Plus the big brother/little sister friendship dynamic he has with Phoibe is endearing IMO. Both make a great, but different Deimos. The story fits both well, though even with Kassandra being the "canon" pick, some of the story lands more towards Alexios (mainly the Olympics and how Spartan children were raised). I went with Alexios because I think he fits better overall, and I find his acting fit better with the tone and theme of the Odyssey gives players the option of venturing through this RPG world as either Alexios (male) or Kassandra (female). If you encounter Lykaon as Alexios, the dialogue options will give you the QOWmnkk.
